Since 2017, I’ve been a core photographer team member for BAPS Swaminarayan Sanstha, capturing major spiritual and cultural events across the U.S. My work focuses on high-quality, emotionally resonant live event photography with fast turnaround and editorial precision.

In 2023, I was appointed Head Photographer and Photo Team Lead for the historic Festival of Inspirations during the opening of BAPS Swaminarayan Akshardham in Robbinsville, NJ — one of the organization’s most large scale events to date which lasted from July - October of 2023.

Festival of Inspirations, July - October 2023

My day to day responsibilities for these 4 months:

Led a team of photographers, including 2 co-leads and dozens of volunteers, coordinating day-to-day coverage across multiple venues and high-attendance events.

Built and managed a live editing pipeline via FTP, ensuring media-ready photos were available in near real-time for press, social media, and internal comms.

Designed a custom data and server architecture to handle massive file volumes, enabling rapid search, tagging, and fulfillment of 10–30 daily image requests.

Streamlined distribution workflows to deliver memory photos to over 100,000 attendees, improving speed, accuracy, and accessibility.

Introduced key process innovations that reduced image turnaround time and improved system scalability under peak demand.

My other work with BAPS Swaminarayan Sanstha includes the Opening of BAPS Hindu Mandir in Abu, Dhabi in the UAE.

The BAPS Hindu Mandir in Abu Dhabi is a monumental spiritual and cultural landmark, representing a symbol of unity, peace, and devotion. During its inauguration, I had the opportunity to document the event for 3-4 weeks, similar to my work with Akshardham, where I captured photographs and videos of the ceremony, the temple's intricate details, and the emotional responses of the visitors. My role involved working closely with the team to showcase the dedication of volunteers and the significance of this historic occasion through multimedia content shared across various platforms.
